The Universe is majorly comprised of space and time and their contents that encompass planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of energy and matter. While the spatial size of the entire Universe remains a question yet to be unveiled, it is, however, possible to measure the size of the observable universe, which has recently been measured to be 93 billion light years in diameter. In various multiverse (which is an abbreviation of the term multiple universes) hypotheses, a universe is one of many causally disconnected constituent parts of a larger multiverse, which subsumes all of space and time and its contents of its own. As a consequence, 'the multiverse' and 'the Universe' are synonymous in such theories. The primal cosmological models of the Universe were developed by the ancient Greeks and Indian philosophers and were geocentric which means that they placed Earth at the center and believed everything to orbit or thrive or periodically occure in accordance to the universal nature of the Earth. Over the centuries, more precise astronomical observations were made with advancement in technology and availability of better equipment which led Nicolaus Copernicus in developing the heliocentric model with the Sun at the center of the Solar System. In developing the law of universal gravitation, Isaac Newton based his research and fundamental formulae upon the works of Copernicus' as well as on Johannes Kepler's laws of planetary motion along with observations made by Tycho Brahe.
