Inspect the settings or save the report as text.
Reveal the hidden EXIF metadata inside a photo — camera model, exposure settings, date taken, and even GPS location.
Every photo from a camera or phone carries hidden EXIF metadata: the device, lens, shutter speed, ISO, the moment it was taken, and sometimes the exact GPS coordinates. This viewer reads it all out so you can inspect a shot's settings — or check what personal data you might be sharing before you post.
- Reads camera, lens and exposure data
- Shows date taken and GPS when present
- Privacy check before you share photos
- Downloadable text report
Frequently asked questions
Why does my image show no EXIF data?
PNGs, screenshots and most images saved from the web carry no EXIF. Original camera and phone JPGs have the most.
Can it show where a photo was taken?
If the photo stored GPS coordinates, they will appear in the metadata.
Should I strip EXIF before posting?
If a photo contains GPS or device details you would rather not share, removing EXIF protects your privacy.
