Every icon here explains something. That is the common thread across a set that covers schools and education, books and pencils, user and user-interface marks, editing and action symbols, web design pieces and imagery of the universe. It leans towards the tools of learning and of building rather than the subjects being taught, which is why editing and interface glyphs sit beside the classroom items. Each is a transparent PNG that holds crisp edges at any size a button or a menu requires. With nothing behind the glyph, a pencil or a book can sit on a coloured tile, a photograph or a dark panel cleanly.
