Counter-strike is a very popular multi-player video game in which there are two sides: Terrorists and Counter terrorists. It was launched as a Half life Modification in the late 90s and was developed by the Valve Corporation. The game has the feature of both single and multiplayer modes which enables you to play alone as well as with your friends. The latest edition of the game is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Goals of the game vary depending on the map you play on. The terrorists must either plant the bomb or defend the hostages as per the mode of the game. The Counter-terrorists must prevent the bomb from being planted, defuse the bomb or rescue the hostages. There are in all 9 modes in the game.
A new mode called the battle-royale game mode, "Danger Zone" was introduced in 2018. It is difficult yet a fun game to play. It is said that once you learn this game, then you will find all other shooting games less exciting. There are a lot of complains regarding this game also by the parents. It allows players to acquire virtual weapons as per their rarity which can be worth thousands of dollars. It is often described as the Wild West of online gambling that is actually targeting kids.
